Wow- PokerStars is definitely the best online poker experience. They just released a new replay feature (currently in beta) that is just amazing! The concept is similar to fulltilt’s visual previous hand popup, but more features). Screenshots below.

I really like PokerStars, but their UI has never been particularly appealing. Their new Black UI (in beta) looks really nice. I can’t say it’s the best I’ve seen- but it’s great to see that they’re making moves in the right direction.

After placing 3rd in another play money tourney tonight, I decided to try my hand at real money again.
Last time I deposited, I had to try about 6 different cards before Full Tilt could finally process it. I guess some banks have restrictions on money transfers to gambling sites?

I think the player notes system is broken since the last full tilt update. I write all my notes, hit ’save and exit’ and nothing.
This is confirmed by comments at cardschat.com.
Very annoying.

Bad Night

Trying Out Full Tilt Poker

I downloaded Full Tilt Poker tonight. It seems to be pretty popular among the poker blogs I was browsing around tonight…
I’ll try it out tomorrow (3:40am is a bit late to start trying new things) and let you know how it compares to PokerStars.

I stumbled on to Learn-Texas-Holdem.com today and this is easily my favorite poker site thus far. The articles are really good and the writers have a very conversational tone.
